Mitchell Ley's first Buck, November 5, 200631 viewsMitch got this buck at about 08:20am on the morning of Nov, 5 2006. We were hunting in a box blind and I was sound asleep. Mitch woke me and told me to open the window and get him his rifle! I did like a good dad does and got his rifle for him. He was cool under fire and nailed the buck on a quartering away shot. The buck only ran about 75yrds. There was virtually no blood trail for the first 30-40yrds. But, with persistance we found the deer. Never give up if your heart tells you the shot was good.mley1
