I like the new TPW drawn hunt system, maybe I will be as lucky as my son, entered him in 8 draw hunts and he was drawn for 4 hunts, 2 at GEWA, 1 at Fairfield state park, and 1 at possum kingdom state park. Going to have to start target practicing.

Is GEMA the one by Tennessee Colony? That's just a few miles from our place and I hear it's crawling with hogs and has good deer as well. Also, Fairfield state park, is that the park that contains the lake? I thought it was a no hunting park? We went there when I was a kid and fished red drum out of lake Fairfield. Watch guys bow fish the talaria, looks cool.

Yes GEMA is that one, lots of hogs and deer, and the Fairfield state park only allows hunting by TPW drawings, I'm sure we will have a good time.

Well the hunting was tough, did not get anything but my son did get to shoot at a doe at about 150 yards but missed. We saw a total of 6 deer while hunting, 4 bucks and 2 does, not sure but I think the only thing killed was a big sow, dressed out about 140#.
