Just getting into hog hunting. So if I ask Questions that have been asked a hundred times before please forgive me. I have a Marlin 45-70 I plan on hunting with. Of the factory loads on the market witch would be the best? I plan to reload so any advise on loads would be greatly appreciated.

Is this the same Kerry Harris I talked with at Cabela's yesterday, or day before? Welcome to Texasboars my friend! It was a pleasure talking with you the other day. You'll find a wealth of knowledge here on the boards.

BTW, I'm thinking I may be headed up to that hunting area we discussed soon. I'm hoping to be able to head up that way on the 21st. Not sure yet though. My oldest son did some frame damage to his car, and dear old dad has to come to the rescue...........again. lol. It's gonna cost me a couple thousand, or so my friends tell me.

Arthur, go to the top of the page here, and click on User Control Panel. Then click on Profile. Then click on Edit Signature. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Hi. New to this forum. I deer hunt with a crossbow but I always carry a rifle for hogs when the sun goes down. Hunting out of a box blind. Wished I would have known about you guys before buying 2 EWT motion activated hog lights. They are only good for 7 yds. They said they come up slowly. Not true. I saw a deer on the camera book it as soon as the green led came on. I am trying to decipher all the info on your feeder light website. I use the ewt 100yd light on the scope. Haven't had much success yet. This site is clarifying quiet a bit. Thx

Welcome to the forum. Those are green lights you say ?
Green used alone seems to be somewhat controversial. Some say it works well, others say
green light tends to spook animals.

I like the combination of red and green, gives good contrast and depth perception.

OK,, looks like users who want/need to register are getting registered and have the ability to use the forums.
I think it's easier on me and the users.
