We started off the morning with two people and two old dogs and two pups.
We found a sounder of hogs about three miles from the house. I turned the dogs loose and they bayed one boar which I shot with a 357 158 grain Hornady XTP mag. The dogs caught three footballs which we dispatched. Then the dogs ran another boar about half a mile and bayed him in the brush. I shot him with a the same 357. One of the dogs was cut pretty bad so we packed it home. I went back and cut up the first boar for dog feed which is cooking right now. I sure do enjoy these snowy days off work. 8-)

One might even call that "fun in the snow".
Good job.

Who needs a toboggan when you can hunt pigs in the snow.

Thanks BossHog. When the weather is bad I can get quite a lot of hunting time in, but when the weather is good (like now) the hunting really slows down. Maybe next week, or even Saturday this weekend. 8-)
