What ammo do you think is most effective with a 300 BLK with a 50 - 100 yard shot? I like Remington Hog Hammer, but it is hard to find and maybe over-hyped.

One of the best places to buy ammo is SGammo.com . I get a lot of my ammo there. Here is their Hog hammer ammo for you: https://www.sgammo.com/product/300-aac-blackout-ammo/20-round-box-300-aac-blackout-remington-tsx-130-grain-hog-hammer-ammo-. It's about 23.00 a box, depending on how many boxes you buy. Not too bad for good hunting ammo. They also have 110grn T-DPX deep penetration ammo that may be good for hog hunting. It's a couple more dollars a box. It's here: https://www.sgammo.com/product/corbon/20-round-box-300-blackout-110-grain-t-dpx-super-sonic-corbon-deep-penetrating-ammo-dp

If you reload, it may be a lot cheaper to load up some of the 130 or 110grn TSX bullets for hunting loads.

I would also say that when you buy online it's sometimes pays to buy a larger quantity. You'll get better shipping rates. SGammo has pretty good rates, when compared to a lot of online retailers. Another place I've bought lots of ammo from is Palmetto State Armory. Right now they have 6.8 Federal Fusion on a really good sale.

I've been using Fiocchi , factory loaded with 125g Hornady SSTs.

My local gun shop sells the 25rd boxes for about 20 bucks.

It has provided plenty of DRT for me.

I do not have a 300BLK and likely never will. I have met the owner/operator of this company, https://dallasreloads.com/ and know that he has put considerable R&D into his 300BLK ammo and has had good luck with it killing hogs. This round was designed to suppressed which is why a lot of people have cycling problems with it. This guys ammo is not as lawyer proof as most factory ammo. Good luck.

I have just done some testing for 300 Blackout and found the Remington 120 Supersonic shoots very well. Still have not shot a hog with it yet.

My results for ammo testing is at https://theolddeerhunters.com/300-aac-blackout/

I started using Barnes 110 gr TAC-TX FB and have killed 8 out of last 8 shots of hogs. Capital Armory in Austin, TX turned me on to them and said their guys that hunt hogs have great luck with the Barnes 110 GR Tipped TSX, which from best I can find are the same. Penetrates and does some serious damage.
