Original repair estimate was from "BLACKARD COMPOSITE AND DESIGN" in MABANK TX. on APRIL 17th 2006 AS PER AGREEMENT WITH MIKE.
NOTE, I did not do things on a whim OR without having discussed it with Mike or was INSTRUCTED by Mike to do certain things to satisfy the WARRANTY PROTOCOL.
I also had other places look at the boat while on fishing trips to the coast but did not get estimates. there is mutual agreement to the cause of repair among every repairman who looked at it.
Final ESTIMATE was performed by TINY'S FIBERGLASS in LONGVIEW TX on 6-13-2006 as per my agreement with MIKE. (NOTE, I didn't do this on whim and prayer, this was done after considerable conversation with MIKE) TINY is approved repair service for virtually every top mame boat sold in the state of TX including RANGER, SKEETER, CHAMPION, and others. It was agreed with Mike, if TINY also confirmed the damage and cause of damage it would be covered under warranty. We might not have TINY repair it, cause he is EXPENSIVE, but that the damges were indeed fall under warranty.
All paper work ESTIMATES including CD with photos were either FAXED or mailed to Palm Beach. ESTIMEATES were faxed and RECEIVED.
One of the the final line of communications froom PALM BEACH came from SHIRLENE BRANCH:
-> on the 10th of JULY 2006 via E-MAIL, which was a reply to my e-mail in which I "demanded some answers and a response".
QUOTE SHIRLENE BRANCH, "my sales manager, Mike Dillon, asked me to forward this reply to the e-mail that you sent.. KEVIN, When we last spoke, I instructed you to take your boat to an authorized PALM BEACH DEALER to have an estimate to repair done. You said you would comply. I HAVE HERD NOTHING FROM YOU REGARDING THE ESTIMATE. we are not neglecting our customers, but our warranty program has protocol we must follow."

SHIRLEN BRANCH later told me, over the phone, there were no records of any kind, no photos, no estimates, NOTHING in my file.
The final communication was, the boat "MUST BE TOWED TO BEAUMONT TX" in order to have it looked at, not repaired, just looked at by a dealer specified by PALM BEACH,, YES,,, "PAL BEACH SPECIFIED to whom I bring the boat". I had to towe it to BEAUMONT, TX.???
My conclusion at this point ??? After all I had gone through to satisfy MIKE?? This is nothing more than over-priced stall tactic to get rid of me.
Thats an 8 hour drive, the cost would run me 300 to 400.00 in gas on top of an overnight stay. Perhaps even two or more trips??
I hope you realize my frustration at this point. I could only conclude this was a no win situation on my part. I gave up.
I LIKE THE BOAT! It desperately needs reapairs! (smile).

This damge is directly under the center console. Also directly under the gas tank and directly in line with the structural stringers.

Unfortunately they continue to worsen with minimal use on the boat. I go to the coast, Port Oconner, about 4 or 5 times a year to fish.
To save these photos to your computer place your cursor over the photo and and do a single RIGHT CLICK. in the options menu choose "SAVE PICTURE AS" and save the photo to a file in y our computer.
